Where I began looking for the connection between technology and design.
Three thingsI keep coming back to.
Not a manifesto — the order I work in. I diagnose before I design, and I build only what the diagnosis asks for.
01 · USER
Center the user, shape the interaction.
Between the system and the moment sits the user — intent, context, attention budget. Every decision routes back to one question: what do they need next, and is that path obvious?
02 · SYSTEM
Read the system before the screen.
Most friction lives below the interface — hardware constraints, legacy architecture, the path data takes between layers. Polish on a broken foundation is a vitamin, not a painkiller. Name what hurts first.
03 · MOMENT
Name the moment that matters.
Products live in human moments — the second after an incident, reaching for the dash cam app; the breath after a shot you know you got. Design backward from it; let the rest wait.
